The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA has kicked off its 2012 Capital Campaign and unveiled plans for a three million dollar renovation.    The three million dollar renovation is designed primarily to allow for the Y’s Youth Center to be located at the main facility on 7th Street. The youth center, which serves over 80 local youth a day, has been temporarily running out of the old train depot on 8th Street in Lebanon since it opened in October 2011.

While redesigning the building to accommodate the youth center, the fitness center, currently located on the second floor at the back of the building, will be moved to a newly built glass fronted second floor where Gym A is currently located, facing out to the main parking area.  For more information please contact Phil Tipton, CEO Lebanon Valley Family YMCA at 717 273-2691 or 717 376-1380.

At the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA we strive to ensure that every family can afford to participate in any YMCA program offered.  We can only do this through the generous donations of individuals and companies that participate in our Annual Campaign for Kids.  Our goal for 2012 is to raise $130,000.  We realize this is a ambitious goal as we continue to raise funds for our capital project however we feel that the Lebanon Community has always stepped forward when the families of Lebanon needed a hand.  So please consider a gift and make your donation today!
