CHILD CARE PROGRAM

The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA's Child Care mission is to provide the highest quality care in a safe, supportive, nurtining and positive environment. Program activities such as art, science, reading, music & games are designed to nurture the physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth of each and every child. Our programs focus on the four core values of honesty, respect, caring, and responsibility.

All centers are licensed by Department of Public Welfare and are enrolled in the Keystone Stars Quality Initiative. Each center helps children develop by building a positive self image and confidence, increasing his/her level of independence and developing a sense of rights and responsibility for self and others.

School Age Child Care (SACC) offers before/after school care for Kindergarten through sixth grade. Some centers also offer care on teacher in-service days, parent teacher conference days, snow days and non-major holidays. Operation of centers depend on enrollment and licensing capacity.

In the summer, the YMCA offers care at a variety of Lebanon County locations from 6:30 AM - 6 PM Monday - Friday. The children are engaged in field trips, swimming, and other daily curriculum activities.

Registrations can be taken at the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA Office by calling 273-2691.
