American Red Cross Lifeguarding course includes CPR for the professional rescuer, 1st aid, and Lifeguard certification.  There is also a prerequisite of swimming 12 lengths of the pool swimming freestyle and breaststroke, treading water, and a timed 50 meter swim

**You must bring your swim suit/towel and all material to all sessions**

There is a swim test on the first day that you must pass in order to continue the course. It consists of 12 laps swimming both freestyle and breaststroke and a timed 50 swim with object retrieval at 10 feet.
