Arnold Early Learning Center Director
The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA is looking for a passionate leader to fill the Director position at our Arnold Early Learning Center. A Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE with a Pennsylvania Directors Credential required.
Our Arnold Early Learning Center and before and after school programs are also looking to fill several part time positions. If you are only looking to work a few hours in the morning and/or afternoon with the middle of your day free, we have the position for you. Must be able to document 2500 hours of experience working with children.
Current certification preferred but possible paid training for the right candidate. Hours will vary including days, nights and weekends. Must be responsible and a team player.
Ebenezer Childcare Center Position
The YMCA’s Ebenezer Childcare Center is looking to fill a fulltime position. Applicant must have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and currently working towards attaining a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. If your passion is nurturing and caring for children then this is the position for you.
Looking for reliable and self-motivated applicants to work third shift from 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM. This position is part-time and is approximately 25-28 hours a week.
Yoga instructor wanted for Yoga 30 minute express classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:15 PM beginning October 1st. Must possess a Yoga certification.
The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA On-Site Preschool Program is looking for a part-time Preschool aide in our half-day 3 year old classroom. Qualified applicants should have at least 2 years experience in an early childhood setting. Must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 8:30 -12:30.
The Freer Family Community Youth Center
The Freer Youth Center is an after-school program for students entering 6th-12th grade, and is free to the community. This position is PT, 15-20 hrs/wk. Normal program hours are Mon-Fri (3-6pm).
The “Lefty” Hallman Youth Center
The Hallman Center is a program for YMCA members age 8-12. This position is PT, 15-20 hrs/wk. Normal program hours are Mon-Thurs (3:30-8:30pm), Fri (3:30-7:30pm), & Sat (9am-12pm).
The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA is seeking a team player that can develop, organize, and implement high quality YMCA aquatic programs as well as ensure the aquatics experience is safe, fun, and enjoyable for members and program participants. This position’s supervisory duties include supervision of lifeguard staff, swim instructors and the head swim team coach.
Qualifications: Minimum age of 21, Certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification. Current YMCA Lifeguarding or Red Cross Lifeguarding certifications (instructor level preferred). Must have YMCA Lifeguard Instructor Certification within 60 days of hire. Current Swim Instructor Certification preferred or achieved within 60 days of hire. Preferred candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience in aquatic field. College degree in relevant field preferred. Will be required to have trainer certifications in CPR, AED, O2, Swim Instructor and Lifeguarding within 90 days of employment. Salary – $30,000/annually
