CHILDCARE: Are you looking for a part time position while you finish college? Do you enjoy working with infants and toddlers? The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA is currently looking to fill part time positions at our 2 childcare centers. A minimum of two years of experience is required, Early Childhood Education credits or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
We are also looking for energetic individuals to work with our before and after school programs. Positions require 2500 hours of childcare experience, a CDA, or a degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
AQUATICS: Lifeguards for the YMCA and VA: Must be certified and responsible. Hours will vary including days, nights and weekends. Possible paid training for the right candidate. Swim Instructors for the YMCA and VA: Must be responsible and able to work evenings and Saturday mornings.
ASSISTANT SWIM COACH: This is an on-call or as-needed part-time position helping YMCA swim team coaches. Some evenings and weekends required.
MAINTENANCE AND HOUSEKEEPING: Part-time custodial position which will also involve light maintenance work. Must be people oriented and able to lift 40 pounds. This position is approximately 25 hours per week.
Full-time Maintenance/Housekeeping Coordinator. Job responsibilities include supervision of housekeeping staff and assisting maintenance director in daily upkeep of facility and grounds. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
PRE-SCHOOL: The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA is looking for a part-time Pre-K teacher. Qualified applicants should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field and/or at least 1 – 2 years experience in a leadership position in a Pre-K setting. YOUTH CENTER: Make a lasting impact on Lebanon-area teens this school year! The Freer Family Community Youth Center is looking for engaged, committed, and caring people to join our staff as Youth Center Mentors.
